FAQ

  • What does the monthly “cap” refer to?
A "Cap" on a DSL line is simply a limit to how much data one can download per month. It is usually measured in GB (gigabytes) and once depleted, your DSL internet connection stops working. If you have purchased a large bandwidth package and you have not used all of it, the bandwidth will expire at the end of the month. Say you purchase a 7 GB package and you only use 4, then 3 GB will expire at the end of the month and you will be back to your 7 GB cap.
  • Are E-mails hosted by Tigatel?
Tigatel does not host E-mails, therefore the cost of hosting is passed on to the client as a saving.
  • What happens to any unused bandwidth?
Tigatel carries over bandwidth in 1 GB increments and users only pay for what they use.
  • How do Tigatel’s prices compare to other service providers’ costs?
Tigatel offers amongst the lowest prices available.
